The challenge

In 2024, flick learning found themselves in a situation many growing SaaS businesses will recognise.

Their website, once fit for purpose, no longer reflected who they were or where they were going. It felt outdated, off-brand, and wasn’t speaking to the right people in the right way. The user journey didn’t help either. Visitors were getting lost, leads weren’t coming through, and without any transactional functionality, even the most interested prospects had nowhere to convert.


And just to keep things interesting, flick learning were also feeling held back by their former agency. Lots of ideas, not enough momentum.


So by 2024, they were more than ready for a fresh start, and a partner who shared their energy.

Our strategy

We began with a simple truth: flick learning’s energy, creativity, and expertise needed to shine through in every click, page, and piece of content.


Spend five minutes with anyone on the flick learning team and you’ll feel it; their mission to shake up the world of e-learning is clear, confident, and wonderfully quirky. They’ve redefined compliance training, built a powerhouse team of specialists, and developed courses for big name brands such as Halford, Morrisons and Wella, with more personality than most brands put in their entire website.

That’s the magic we needed to capture and share with the world.


So we set out to create a site that speaks to flick learning’s audience with authenticity and purpose. With our SEO hats firmly on, we rebuilt the sitemap, user journey and content strategy around real user needs and flick learning’s deep subject-matter expertise.


The result? A rich, well-structured website that invites users to explore, discover, connect, and this time, actually purchase a subscription.

This project was all about expertise meeting expertise. flick learning know online compliance training inside out; we know how to build high-performing websites that show up where audiences actually look (spoiler: page one of Google). 


Kicking things off with deep, collaborative discovery. Not just “what do you need today?” but “what will you need in one, three, five years?” We dug into audience behaviour, compliance trends, content priorities, and the goals behind every feature.


Clear communication and shared understanding kept everything moving. 


With that foundation in place, we paired flick learning’s subject-matter expertise with our own optimisation, UX and content craft. 


Keeping this partnership strong throughout the build, we created a site that doesn’t just look good or sound smart, it works hard, scales with ambition, and delivers organic performance continuously.
